Bollywood iconic actor Hrithik Roshan was in talk for the Sanjay Gupta's film and Finally Official star cast of Kaabil film is announced, Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam Confirmed to play role as Lead actors in Sanjay Gupta's upcoming film. Parineeti Chopra and Shraddha Kapoor's names were taking rounds on the web but finally director Sanjay Gupta unveiled the Official news.
Roshan Sr, who is producing this Sanjay Gupta-directed love-revenge drama, says, "Yami is a fine actress and makes a fresh pairing with Hrithik. She suits the role to the T and we are glad to have her on board." The filmmaker goes on to add, "After a long time, I have heard a novel story with all the commercial ingredients, so I'm very excited about it."
“It’s a big solo-heroine project for Yami, who has done films with Ajay Devgn and Varun Dhawan, where she had to share joint credit with another actress. There were speculations that actresses like Parineeti Chopra and Kareena Kapoor had been approached for the role in Kaabil, which director Sanjay Gupta later denied. It’s a big feather in Yami’s hat to be part of this project. Everyone from Gupta to Hrithik and his father Rakesh felt that Yami suited the role the best.”
Not only the lead actors but supporting cast is also exciting confirmed by Sanjay Gupta. He said, "The supporting cast of #KAABIL is equally exciting. I'm so looking forward to work with my buddies from earlier & new actors that join us."
